A friend of mine told me about a wedding website that had fantastic wedding accessories and reception supplies at a great low cost, so we checked it out. She was right, they had everything from wedding invitations to wedding favors and none of it was really expensive. Along with all the super wedding accessories they also carry groomsmen gifts and bridesmaids gifts. My fiance found quite a few gift ideas for groomsmen gift ideas. He found some personalized glass mugs for each of the guys groomsmen gift and I found some very awesome things for the bridesmaids, as well.
Since we had planned our wedding date to be in December, I wanted to have a winter wonderland wedding and reception and this was the perfect place to get what I needed for it. First I ordered winter wonderland wedding bulletins to use as our wedding invitations. When I went searching for my flower girls basket and the ring boys pillow I found a wedding set that not only had both those things but also, a guestbook, pen set and a lovely wedding garter too. Not only did each piece match, but the price was more than reasonable. I read about how now that a lot of churches don’t allow petals to be thrown at the bride and groom at the ceremony, that many couples are having the guests blow bubbles instead. So I checked out this online shopping site and found bottles of bubbles with lovely little bubble cards to go with them for our ceremony.
The lovely accessories I ordered were unbelievable. I was able to find gifts for not only my bridesmaids, flower girl and ring boy, but for everyone in our wedding party. Now, I needed to concentrate on what to buy for our guests. There were so many wonderful gift ideas for a winter wedding to give to our friends and family. As thank you gifts, I chose glass votive candles with a frosty winter theme, for all of our guests. Each candle had nice little silver snowflakes around it. The votive candles came in adorable little wedding favor boxes with a lovely silver thank you tag attached.
I also bought place card holders that look like snowy tree ornaments that can be used as an extra little favor for our guests. There was so much for a beautiful winter wonderland themed wedding, like our cake server set, our champagne flutes and even our funny wedding cake topper. Our topper was of a bride and groom skiing and I had the top layer of our cake made into a mountain of snow for the happy couple to placed upon. I had many pictures of our wedding cake taken for my winter themed wedding picture album, it was so adorable. We cut our cake and shared the first piece, then my brother in law gave a little speech as he toasted to the bride and groom, and then it was time for us to have our first dance of the evening. This was like a dream come true, dancing around the room with my new husband as everyone watched.
The rest of the reception was just as perfect as the beginning, and everyone seemed to have a wonderful time. All of my girls in the wedding party loved their thank you gifts as did the guys and their wedding groomsmen gifts. Some of our friends and family expressed how much they really liked the thank you gifts they received and told us what a spectacular wedding and reception we had.
