When my fiance and I set the date for our wedding, I started planning and shopping for all my accessories and wedding supplies, right away. Since I love to shop online, I decided that was as good a place to start as any. I’m glad I did too, with all they had to offer there was no problem finding everything I needed to plan the perfect wedding and reception. There was everything for our wedding and reception, from invitations to party favors for our wedding guests.
We decided that a lovely theme wedding would be what we would like, and the theme we chose was a beach theme. Our friends and us have spent many days on the beach, since we were kids, growing up here and it seemed like the perfect place for our wedding.
I ordered beach invitations right away so they would be on their way to our friends and family, first thing. Everyone answered with a definite yes, and everyone seemed really excited about sharing this day with us. Now, since the invitations were taken care of, I could concentrate on finding the bridal accessories I want for my wedding. I was surprised at all the accessories they carried for weddings and receptions, and I shop online quite a bit. I ordered the most beautiful tiara and hair comb from there. I also found wedding jewelry that I really wanted to wear for my ceremony. I looked at all the jewelry and found the necklace and earring set I wanted to wear with my wedding dress. It had little pearls and crystals entertwined and gave such a luxurious sparkle to my ensemble.
There was so much in the way of bridal fashion that was absolutely exquisite and the best part was, it wasn’t all that expensive. There were even a lot of honeymoon accessories available that I ordered. Even though we were getting married on the beach, I insisted on a floor length wedding dress. My bridesmaids wore a light weight satin dress for my wedding and so did my little flower girl. They were all so elegant, they could have been on the cover of a bridal magazine.
Our reception tables were all set up on the beach with tiki torches scattered all around and lights strung up by the make shift dance floor we had. On the reception tables there were seashells and starfish scattered about and place card holders that were adorable little sailboats. As wedding favors I wanted to give them something special from the seaside collection, so I chose the beach themed photo frames for each of them. I think the picture frames I chose were to their liking.
There were tealights and candles to light up our beautifully set bridal table and lovley beach themed flutes for the wedding toast. Our wedding cake topper was especially designed for a beach wedding just as all our other accessories for our reception. We had a cake topper of a young couple holding each other as they walked along the beach. Thanks to all the supplies and bridal accessories I had to choose from, our wedding and reception was everything I had hoped it would be. For those that weren’t into seafood, we made sure we had plenty of steaks and chicken for them. We all had a wonderful time enjoying good food and good music to dance too. If it wasn’t for going on our honeymoon, I never would have left our terrific beach party.
The first thing I had to do when we came home from our honeymoon was get out my wedding guest book I bought online and make out all the thank you notes for the people that shared our wedding day with us. Whenever I want to remember my wedding day, I’ll take out my beach themed photo album and look at all the pictures we had taken.
